Good Cars, Stupid People, Cell Phones
Okay, so I pulled a dumbass the other day.... I check my radiator while at the cabin in Prescott, put in some coolant, takes hardly any, so everything's fine. I take off and head home. I get to Spring Valley, which is like freakville USA, considering the town consists entirely of a Curves, a pizza shop, and like 5 churches.
My car is running friggin hot....something's up. I pull over, check it out. Apparently I forgot to put the radiator cap back on. OOPS. So I check the local shack in spring valley, nope no caps. So I ask around, the nearest autoparts store is like 40 miles away back in Prescott Valley.
I think logically, so naturally this is where everything falls apart. My brother was in Prescott with me over the weekend, he and his buddy stayed behind to go to some swapmeet. He has a cell phone, go figure. So I call him up, guess what, phone's off. So I try a few more times, yup, phone's off. So I call up my mom, she hops in the car and drives up to bring me a new radiator cap. So after two hours in freakville USA, I feel dirty, but I'm back home. Now I just have to suffer through Monday, at work none-the-less. That's the worst part, always the worst part, that whole being at work thing.
