Strange Lights in the Sky

So I have to do this, sorry A.... I've been talking to A on her way home every night for a few weeks now, and she keeps talking about these strange glowing lights in the sky and she's been fascinated by these lights. I've tossed out several idea's as to what the lights would be, construction lights, etc from nearby road work or whatever. Nothing fit what the lights looked like to her.

Finally the other day I was driving home with her and she pointed out the lights to me and I basically fell over laughing, I couldn't believe my eyes, I glanced over and knew immediately what the lights were. You see she lives out in Queen Creek, the middle of friggin no where on the east side, the lights looked to be just a few miles away towards Phoenix.

Planes landing at Sky Harbor had their landing lights on and makes it appear that these lights were just floating in the sky in a really strange pattern. She's still pissed at me for laughing so hard, and I'm sure I'm going to lose parts vital to my anatomy when she finds out I blogged this, but it's just too damn funny to keep secret.
