Is honesty really the best policy?
So I was talking to J the other day, she mentioned how a friend of hers told her that she and dipshit would probably get married within 3 months, but that was okay because they'd be divorced within 5 years anyway, so she should just enjoy it while it lasts.
Okay, I appreciate how blunt she was, since I tend to "expedite information flow" by being blunt, but damn, sometimes the truth hurts, holy crap people. When someone's going into a relationship you don't just say, "It's okay, you'll be divorced in 5 years anyway".
Sounds like I have a new catch phrase, "hey mark, can you fix this computer for me?" me: "sure, you'll be divorced in 5 years anyway".
Okay I can't really remember where I was going to go with this rant that I started last week then saved into my drafts and totally forgot to enter, etc. So if you're actually still reading this, i'm sorry for wasting you time. I'll give you your two minutes back when I get a chance.
